Hi, Stuart here
and you are reading my uncensored review of what I really thought about David Nevogt’s Book : The Simple Golf Swing. Note that this is a review though, and if you’re looking for the The Simple Golf Swing ebook then there is a link at the end of this review.
Why am I writing this?
I started playing golf at 12 years old and after the first week, I felt like giving up! My dad played golf and he said to me “just persevere” – which I did. After a couple of years we ended up wining a father and son competition! It took until I was around 16years old until I was playing in single figures. So all in all four years of hard work (and a lot of perseverance!).
Practicing every day and playing if not every day, but every other day. This was with one goal in mind – to play better golf and perfect my swing. Basically, it was hard work, regular practice and persistence that I was able to play well.
Not until recently (I’m 47 now!) a friend of mine wanted to learn to play golf and instead of teaching him I wanted to see if there was anything on the market that made it easier to play golf.
When I was thinking about buying the The Simple Golf Swing book, there weren’t many real reviews around about it, so I thought I’d write one to help you make the right decision yourself.
But, be warned! I’ll be going into both the good and the bad points, so if that’s something you might not want to hear, then you may as well leave now.
My Research Started
I wanted to find a method that golfers at all skill levels could develop a consistenswing and start to spend time playing golf rather than practicing! After all, the average golfer plays better when he has nothing tothink about – just swing and hit the ball!
I came across a number of different courses and books, but the one that kept coming to the forefront was called The Simple Golf Swing by David Nevogt. This system is designed to help golfers see results within as little time as three hours.
Poor Reviews
I bought the book The Simple Golf Swing book because there were so many poor reviews of the book and I believe that the majority of these “so called reviewers” had not even bought the book! The purpose of the book is to significantly lower the handicaps of golfers who are willing to accept ideas that are not conventional.
The Simple Golf Swing was developed so that anyone, regardless of physical ability could apply it. It was designed to take all the unnecessary movements out of your swing.
Good Points
I was looking for a book for my friend that would be easy to read, easy to understand an implement and be available for left handed and right handed golfers. The Simple Golf Swing as the title suggests is available for both. The book is designed for all skill levels.
The price! – it is cheap for what you get. You could easily pay the same price for one lesson and not get as many benefits.
The method puts less strain on the lower back because it is taught with a shorter backswing. This also has the benefit of a solid impact and more consistency. The great thing about The Simple Golf Swing is that there are only 5 simple steps!
